Frequently Asked Questions
Are Apollo Venetian blinds made in Australia?
Yes — our Venetian blinds are locally manufactured using high-quality materials designed to handle Australian sunlight and humidity. Local production also means faster delivery and reliable quality control.
Can I motorise Venetian blinds?
Motorisation is available on selected timber and Smartwood® Venetian. It allows you to tilt or raise your blinds at the touch of a button or via smartphone app for effortless control.
What colours and slat sizes are available?
Apollo offers 63mm for timber and Smartwood® styles, and 25 mm or 50 mm for aluminium Venetians. Colours range from classic whites and neutrals to contemporary timber tones and metallic finishes.
Are Venetian blinds suitable for humid areas?
Yes — Apollo’s Smartwood® Venetian Blinds are specifically engineered for moisture-prone rooms such as bathrooms, laundries, and kitchens. They won’t warp, crack, or fade like real timber when exposed to humidity, making them a practical choice for Sydney bathrooms, laundries and kitchens
How do I clean and maintain Venetian blinds?
Regularly dust the slats with a soft cloth, microfibre duster, or vacuum with a brush attachment. For deeper cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. This straightforward care routine suits busy Sydney households. For more details, visit our Product Care & Operating Instructions page
