Most frequently asked questions (FAQ)

We can only look at repairing blinds which are ours. That is, we do not repair blinds made or sold by any other company.

Also, we do not repair blinds more than 7 years old.

Even in these cases, it is often a more cost-effective option to get new blinds. You may bring the blinds into your nearest showroom, or we can come out to visit you.

Yes, we do sell Security Doors and Curtains but we don't sell Flyscreens.

There is no such thing. Windows come in a huge range of sizes. We must have accurate measurements to start with.

Everything we make is made to measure to the millimetre so it is difficult to give you a “square metre rate” or “piece rate”. The main determinants of price are fabric and textile finishes and these are grouped from lowest to highest, so a “group 1″ material will be the cheapest. Our design consultant can give you an exact costing in your home or you can get an approximation at our showrooms.

Click here and you will see the location closest to you. Our showrooms have varying opening and closing times, so it is best to check with each showroom. Don’t forget our sales agent will come to you and each agent carries samples of blinds, fabrics and colours.

If there are any alterations to the order these will need to be clarified prior to placing the order as it may affect the price.

Once you make an appointment for a sales agent to come and give a free in home consultation you will be offered the next available day. The sales agent should then contact you the evening before or the morning of the appointment to confirm a time with you. The installers will also confirm a time on the morning of the allocated installation day usually by 9:30am.

Once everything is ready, fitting the blinds is fairly quick. Times may vary from job to job but as an average, Blind 1 will generally take 20 – 30 minutes including bringing everything in. Every blind after that will take 10 -15 minutes.
Generally speaking, lighter blinds are preferred in the living areas of the home – the living room, dining room and kitchen. The reason, primarily, is that plenty of light is needed in these areas. Also, it’s unlikely that you’ll be sleeping in these rooms so there’s no need to block light. If you prefer to create a light, bright area, it’s always advised to choose white, cream or light colours for your window coverings. This does not only allow for more light to enter the room, but it also creates a softer, lighter overall look and feel.

The simple answer is no, not by day. During the day when the light is greater outside, you have a very clear vision but no one can see in. This effect is reversed by night.
