Custom-Made Fabric Vertical Blinds
Every Apollo Blinds vertical blind is custom-made to suit your measurements, room layout, and operational requirements.
This includes:
- track sizing
- stacking direction
- fabric selection
- reveal or face fitting
- slat width configuration
- light control preferences
A professionally measured and installed blind creates:
- smoother operation
- improved appearance
- better light management
- cleaner alignment
- more precise fitting
Custom-made blinds also help reduce common issues associated with poorly fitted ready-made products, including uneven operation, light gaps, and premature wear.
Sloping Vertical Blinds
Sloping vertical blinds are specifically designed for angled windows, raked ceilings, stairwells, and architectural glazing where standard blinds are not suitable.
These systems are custom-manufactured to follow the angle of the window while still providing practical light control and privacy.
They are commonly installed in:
- modern architectural homes
- loft conversions
- stair voids
- cathedral ceilings
- feature windows
Note: These are a specialized type designed for windows that are not perfectly vertical, such as skylights, conservatories, or angled windows in lofts.
Choosing the Right Vertical Blind Fabric
The fabric you choose affects privacy, lighting, room comfort, and overall appearance. Apollo Blinds offers a wide selection of vertical blind fabrics designed to suit different rooms, lifestyles, and interior styles.
Blockout Vertical Blinds
Blockout vertical blinds are designed for stronger privacy and glare reduction. They are particularly suitable for:
- bedrooms
- media rooms
- living rooms with strong afternoon sun
- street-facing windows
- offices requiring screen glare reduction
These fabrics help minimise sunlight penetration while creating a cleaner and more private interior environment.
Light Filtering Vertical Blinds
Light-filtering fabrics soften incoming daylight while maintaining a bright and comfortable atmosphere. They are commonly selected for:
- living areas
- kitchens
- dining rooms
- apartments
- open-plan spaces
This option allows natural light to enter the room while improving daytime privacy and reducing harsh glare.
Textured and Decorative Fabrics
Textured vertical blind fabrics add softness and visual depth to interiors while still maintaining the practicality vertical blinds are known for.
These fabrics are popular in:
- modern homes
- contemporary apartments
- office fit-outs
- minimalist interiors
They help create a softer appearance compared to plain flat fabrics while maintaining easy operation and maintenance.
