Control Connector App Devices Using Amazon Alexa 2.0

The Connector+ App integrates with Amazon Alexa, giving you hands-free control of your MaxiSMART® motorised blinds and awnings. With simple voice commands, you can open, close, or adjust blinds to a specific position, as well as include them in Alexa routines.

Step 1: Prepare Connector+ Setup

Before linking to Alexa, make sure your blinds are connected and working properly in the Connector+ App. Clear naming (e.g. Kitchen Blind or Office Awning) will make voice commands more intuitive.

Step 2: Open the Alexa App

On your smartphone or tablet, launch the Amazon Alexa app. Tap the Menu icon and select Skills & Games.

Step 3: Enable the Connector+ Skill

• In the search bar, type Connector+.

• Select the Connector+ skill and tap Enable to Use.

• Sign in with your Connector+ account credentials to link your devices.

Step 4: Discover Devices

Once linked, ask Alexa to “Discover devices”, or tap Add Device in the app. Your connected blinds will appear in your device list.

Step 5: Use Alexa Voice Commands
