Introducing MaxiSmart® Motorsation

MaxiSMART® offers four main motor options to suit different blind and awning installations. Each motor is designed for quiet, reliable operation and seamless integration with the MaxiSMART® control system.

1. Battery-Powered Roller Blind Motor

• Description: A self-contained 12 V lithium-ion motor hidden inside the blind tube.

• Charging: Recharge with the supplied USB-C cable for about 10 hours; one charge typically lasts around six months depending on blind size and usage.

• Optional Solar Panel: A compact 500 mm × 50 mm solar strip can trickle-charge the motor, reducing or eliminating the need for manual charging.

• Installation Advantage: No electrician required, keeping installation simple.

• Smart Integration: Not Wi-Fi enabled by itself; to control through the Connector App or voice assistants, add the MaxiSMART® Wi-Fi Bridge.

2. 240 V Roller Blind Motor

• Description: A mains-powered motor designed for heavier blinds or frequent operation.

• Installation: Requires an electrician, but multiple blinds can be wired efficiently in one visit.

• Smart Integration: Built-in Wi-Fi allows direct connection to the Connector App and smart home systems. For installations with more than 5–10 blinds, using the Wi-Fi Bridge is recommended to reduce network load.

• Durability: Generally more robust and longer lasting than a battery motor.

3. 240 V Awning Motor

• Typical Use: Popular for Ziptrak® and outdoor awnings.

• Smart Integration: Wi-Fi enabled for direct app and home automation control.

• Obstacle Detection: Automatically senses and reverses if an object blocks the awning. If the obstruction remains, the motor stops to prevent fabric and mechanism damage.

4. 240 V Enduraguard Roller Shutter Motor

• Description: Heavy-duty motor engineered for roller shutters.

• Smart Integration: Works with MaxiSMART® remotes; for app or voice control, add the Wi-Fi Bridge.

Control Compatibility

All MaxiSMART® motors use radio frequency (RF) technology and work seamlessly with MaxiSMART® remotes, including 1-channel, 5-channel with timer, and 15-channel models.
