Apollo Blinds for the last 27 years have been producing quality Australian made products. Like many industries there have been shifts to overseas imports. We recently decided that in order to remain competitive we would also offer an overseas alternative for our Smartwood (fauxwood) Venetian. This product is produced in China but we still make more Smartwood venetians in Sydney. We also import a Roller Shutter from China as well as offering our flagship roller shutter manufactured in Adelaide. Some of our major competitors choose to import blinds from other Asian countries such as Indonesia but we feel that the more established Chinese market is more reliable and provide consistent products. Louvre Shutters are also made in China apart from some Aluminium shutters made in Sydney and Brisbane. We also carry a cellular blind made in China that is also manufactured in Melbourne. All the factories producing our products have been inspected to ensure the processes are to our standards. Consumers have rights to know the country of origin of what they are buying so next time you go to make a purchase ask.
