Care and Maintenance Guide for Window and Door Screens

How To Clean

It is recommended to use a soft bristled brush or non-abrasive cloth with warm water and a neutral PH detergent followed by a rinse with water. Abrasive cleaners and harsh detergents are not recommended as they can scratch or damage the surface area.

Frequency

Screen doors & windows require regular maintenance to remove contaminants caused by pollution, industry, salt and climatic conditions. The following table indicates the minimum frequency of maintenance:

Environment Definition Frequency
Mild 15km from coastal / rural / suburban areas Every 3 months
Moderate 10km from coastal / high traffic areas Every 2 months
Extreme/Coastal 5km from coast / marine / heavy industrial areas Every month

*Regular maintenance is required to comply with your third party warranty.

*Any claims outside of Apollo’s 1 year warranty may be subject to service and reinstallation charges.
