Security Screens for Different Rooms of Your Coffs Harbour Home
Security screens can be installed across many areas of the home, helping to improve protection, airflow, insect control, and visibility without relying on bulky bars or grilles.
Security Screens for Living Rooms
Living room security screens allow fresh air and natural light into the home while helping to secure accessible windows and doors.
They are especially useful for front-facing rooms, ground-floor windows, and areas that are opened regularly for ventilation. Fine mesh designs can help maintain clear views while providing an added level of protection.
For living rooms with large windows or doors, screens can be custom-made to match the opening and frame colour of the home.
Security Screens for Bedrooms
Bedroom security screens provide added peace of mind while allowing windows to remain open for ventilation.
They are a practical option for ground-floor bedrooms, children’s rooms, and rooms facing a side path, street, or neighbouring property. The mesh helps keep insects out while allowing airflow through the room.
When choosing bedroom security screens, the window type, opening direction, and desired level of visibility should all be considered.
Security Screens for Bathrooms and Laundries
Bathrooms and laundries benefit from security screens because these rooms often need regular ventilation while maintaining privacy.
A fitted screen can allow fresh air to circulate without leaving the window fully exposed. This can be especially useful for ground-floor or side-facing windows that are opened after showers, laundry use, or cleaning.
Corrosion-resistant materials are important in moisture-prone areas, particularly where humidity and regular cleaning are expected.
Security Screens for Kitchens
Kitchen security screens help maintain ventilation while adding protection to windows near outdoor walkways, side passages, and backyard areas.
They allow the window to be opened while cooking, helping to bring in fresh air without making the home more accessible to insects or unwanted visitors.
Because kitchen windows are often used daily, a screen should be selected to suit the window type, frame, and ease of cleaning.
Security Screens for Sliding Doors and Large Openings
Sliding doors and large openings need screen systems that operate smoothly, provide clear views, and suit high-traffic access points.
Sliding security screen doors are ideal for patios, decks, balconies, and alfresco areas. They allow the main door to remain open for airflow while helping to secure the opening and keep insects outside.
Professional measuring is important for larger openings. The frame, locking system, track, access requirements, and door configuration all need to suit the way the space is used.
