Western Red Cedar is a medium density timber that is very lightweight and also offers the best thermal properties (insulation) of all timber types.

  • Timber can be oiled (medium light, medium dark)
  • Timber can be lacquered (medium light, medium dark)
  • Timber can be painted
  • Slat thickness 4.2mm
  • 90mm deluxe fascia as standard
  • Maximum width 2400mm
  • Maximum drop 2450mm
  • Maximum area 5.8m² (restricted to 3m² if frequently raised)
  • Minimum reveal required 40mm (space from window to front of sill)
