All blinds come with a slimline hooded cassette for added protection and a stylish look. One size cassette fits all, so you don’t need to worry about matching hood sizes or bottom rails. The simple and robust bottom rail locks are designed for all-weather conditions. Fabric tube reducers minimize fabric build-up from the side zip, ensuring symmetrical rolling. No visible side or bottom spline offers a more pleasing appearance than other systems. Smart Guide blinds are competitively priced due to their minimal components and uncomplicated locking system.

MaxiSMART® Wi-Fi Bridge
The Wi-Fi Bridge is a bi-directional controller that uses Wi-Fi to communicate with your smartphone and other smart devices, and RF to communicate with your motorized window coverings and sun shading products. It also has an integrated RS485 interface, which allows you to integrate it with third-party home automation systems.
With the Wi-Fi Bridge, you can control your window coverings and sun shading products from anywhere in the world, using the designated smartphone application. You can also create schedules and automate your window coverings and sun shading products to open and close at specific times of day or based on weather conditions.
The Wi-Fi Bridge is also compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and other smart home platforms. This means that you can use voice commands to control your window coverings and sun shading products.
Note: Apollo Blinds installer does not set up the Wi-Fi Bridge due to privacy concerns as you will need to create your own account and password.
Voice Activation
Voice Activation is available with Google Home, Amazon Alexa or Siri on your iPhone once a Wi-Fi Bridge has been purchased and installed.
Set up instructions are available in the Connector App.

Soft Spring Manual Operation
The soft spring system makes it easy to use without it being hard to pull down. The spring locking system makes it simple to lock the blind into place when down, securing the blind on both the left and right of the bottom rail. This offers a great alternative for customers that do not want the motorised version.

BAD WEATHER
We recommend that on the Beaufordwind scale table (refer to diagram on the right) in conditions of 5 (Fresh) and above that your blinds should be retracted or rolled up.
Wind speeds of up to 38 km/hour (Fresh) small trees move and sway, flags would be extended. Gusty wind conditions are always hard to predict so if in doubt, retract your blinds.
You may find spring- operated blinds harder to operate during windy conditions due to the pressure of the wind on the blind material. Use your hand to push against the blind material to reduce this pressure and then operate the blind. We recommend for normal use that your spring operated blind blinds should be left down and locked, or fully retracted, half way can be used during calm weather days.
Care must be taken when operating motorised blinds in windy conditions, They must be supervised whilst raising and lowering at all times.
PERIODIC CLEANING
- Keep the fabric clean by brushing both the top and underside with a soft brush.
- Hosing occasionally on a hot day with cold water will minimise the development of algae, mildew and fungi by removing dust and grime.
- Awnings should not be rolled away wet. However if bad weather requires them to be rolled away wet, roll them back out as soon as possible to prevent mould build up.
- Occasionally extend the Awning fully down to even out the material, particularly if the Awning is usually set in one position.
- Do not allow dirt, plants or bird droppings to remain in contact with the fabric.
- Do not apply detergents, cleaning fluids or insecticides.
