OPERATING
- Wand used to rotate blind.
- Blades must be rotated to open position before blind can be lifted.
- To lift blind all cords on lift mechanism must be grabbed together.
- It is vital that all cords stay at same level as the blind is raised otherwise blind will not raise evenly.
- When blind is raised to desired position jolt cords to outer side of blind and the lock mechanism will engage to unlock mechanism and lower blind grab all cords firmly together.
- Pull slightly on cords and jolt slightly to inner side of blind.
- Guide blind down slowly, by allowing cords to slide slowly through fingers.
- If hold down brackets are installed clip bottom rail into Hold down brackets to stabilise blind in windy situations.
- Always ensure to disengage Hold down brackets before raising blinds.
- In winter time rotate blades to point downwards, this will direct sunlight entering through the window to the floor, as the heat rises towards the ceiling it warms the room.
- In summer time point the blades upwards. The heat will be directed upwards towards the ceiling as it enters the room and leaving quickly out of the room. This will help to keep the room cooler.
- When blind is raised cords should be cleated to keep out of reach of children.
CLEANING
- To clean blind simply rotated blades closed in on direction and dust surface using a feather duster or soft cloth. Rotate blind closed in opposite direction and repeat process.
- Blinds should be dusted regularly (approximately once a week) to control build up of dust and grime
- Do not force blades apart with hands to reach window locks or handles. This force may buckle blades.
